We worked in close collaboration with the curator of the exhibition.
We designed and developed the following digital experiences:
- Interactive modules for 19 inches touchscreens, installed at the Multimedia hall and the Ludic space.
- Informative Apps for iPhone and Android mobile devices.
- Micro website.
- 360 photo and video to create the virtual visit of the exhibition. We included highresolution pictures and labels of all the objects from the museums included in the exhibition.
- Game for iPhone and Android phones that consist on the search for clues related to the 43 iconic objects of the exhibition’s universe. The user can play at the museum exhibition, or in “Distance mode” through a quiz, in case he doesn’t want to complete the game during his visit. Once he finds the clues and registers them digitally, he obtains a collectable card for each object. When he completes 6 cards of each section (corresponding to each one of the 7 thematic sections of the exhibition), the user wins a special card: “The honor badge” of the actual Mexican national emblem.
The cards and its specially designed album may be sent as files for printing. This way, the user may have his own collectable album of beautiful cards.
Such design of digital experiences, mainly those to do with the clue-search game, was possible through our analysis of the contents, art catalogue, exhibition scripts, possible paths of visit, and the ludic opportunities given by those 43 objects, selected by the curator.
