The exhibition versed around the history of the monument built between 1898 and 1809, its aesthetic qualities, as well as the different uses it has had: grain store, fortress of the insurgent army, jail, school and museum, since six decades ago. It showed architectural prints, photos, and as homage to the painter José Chávez Morado, great cultural promoter who contributed to the precinct foundation.

We designed an interactive module that shows image galleries with documents, correspondence and various texts related to the painter and muralist, as well as another App that contains a gallery of technical archaeological sheets, various documents and correspondence, from to the museum’s collection.

From archival images we made a video that shows fragments of interviews to diverse public, in relation to their opinions on the meaning of the museum and how they imagine it in the future. At the end the visitor could participate in the same survey by reading a QR Code with their mobile devices.
